ASME SA240 SS 410 Sheets and Plates Supplier in India
SS 410 is a martensitic, generally hardenable steel. It combines the strong wear resistance of high carbon alloys with the good corrosion resistance of chromium stainless. Stainless Steel 410 Sheets are a fantastic choice for severely stressed parts because of their good strength, superior ductility, and corrosion resistance in mild atmospheres, steam, and mild chemical conditions. SS ASTM A240 410 Plates/sheet are magnetic both in the annealed and hardened states.
Stainless steel UNS S41000 sheets/plates are utilized in a variety of applications, including petrochemical processes, aerospace constructions, automotive exhausts, manifolds, and high-temperature engine parts. In many mild environments and applications, stainless steel 410 hot rolled plates have been used in place of stainless steel 304 with success due to their corrosion resistance that is comparable to that of SS 301.
For 410 plates/sheets, the annealing temperature is between 1850 and 2000 degrees Fahrenheit. To keep carbides in solution and prevent sensitization, 410 Stainless Steel Sheets must be rapidly cooled through the carbide precipitation range (1500 degrees Fahrenheit to 800 degrees Fahrenheit). SS 410 plates/sheets solely undergo a cold operation for hardening; heat treatment is not used to harden them. You can weld SS 410 sheets using any conventional technique. High mechanical strength, tensile strength, hardness, anti-corrosiveness, flexibility, lifespan, good dimensional accuracy, beautiful surface finishes, etc. are all characteristics of SS 410 Plates/sheets.
